A space to talk, without having to have all the answers.

Sometimes life feels difficult to navigate on your own.

You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, grief, relationships, trauma, self-esteem or a period of change.

Or perhaps you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong. You simply know that you're struggling and want things to feel different.

You don't need to know exactly what you need from counselling before you get in touch.

What can counselling help with?

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Low mood and depression

  • Stress and burnout

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma and difficult experiences

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Life transitions and change

  • Emotional difficulties

  • Feeling stuck or lost

  • Past experiences that continue to affect you

  • Difficulties understanding or managing emotions

And sometimes there isn't a neat label for what you're experiencing.

Maybe you simply don't feel like yourself anymore.

That's enough reason to ask for support.

A space that's yours

My approach is person-centred and integrative.

This means that I see you as the expert in your own life, while working alongside you to explore what you're experiencing.

We'll use empathy, reflection, gentle challenge and open questions to help you understand yourself and what may be going on beneath the surface.

Where appropriate, I may also introduce practical tools, exercises or CBT-informed techniques that you can use between sessions.

There isn't a formula.

Your counselling is about you.

If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, that's completely okay.
